The Gravity: C4001 presence sensor is a modern device utilizing 24 GHz millimeter-wave radar technology. It offers a horizontal detection angle of 100°, with presence detection range of up to 8 meters and motion detection and distance measurement up to 12 meters. By employing FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) modulation, the sensor accurately detects both distance and speed of moving objects.
Unlike traditional infrared sensors, the C4001 can effectively detect both static and moving objects regardless of environmental conditions such as light, temperature, dust, or noise.
