Description

The C1001 mmWave Human Detection Sensor is a modern 60 GHz radar designed for precise human presence detection. Unlike standard 24 GHz sensors that only detect movement, speed, and distance, the C1001 model offers extended functionality: fall detection, sleep monitoring, and human posture analysis. Thanks to its point cloud imaging algorithm, the sensor can recognize if a person is lying down and monitor vital signs even when the person is motionless.

The C1001 is ideal for healthcare applications, particularly for monitoring the elderly and patients requiring care. It is compatible with platforms such as Arduino UNO, ESP32, and micro:bit, and the extensive documentation and sample code facilitate rapid deployment. The device operates reliably under diverse conditions, delivering accurate data on presence, heart rate, and breathing rhythm. When mounted on the ceiling (at a height of 2.7 m), it can detect movement within a radius of up to 11 meters. Additionally, the sensor can measure breathing and heart rate from a distance of up to 1.5 meters, providing comprehensive insights into sleep quality.
