Description

Bend Labs' digital flex sensor is an innovative motion measurement solution, providing an alternative to existing sensor technologies to measure highly accurate and drift-free angular displacement in a soft housing with extremely low power consumption. The sensor is constructed from highly durable medical-grade silicone elastomers. It is a single-axis, bidirectional flex sensor that measures one angle for 2D orientation. An integrated low-power analogue chip with an I2C interface provides angular displacement data in degrees and includes an on-board calibration and bootloader. The angular displacement is path-independent. It provides high fidelity angular displacement measurement, ideal for a wide range of applications. The sensor requires a power supply from 1.62 to 3.6 V for proper operation.
