The GMSL adapter with the MAX9296A chip enables integration of two GMSL cameras with Jetson Orin platforms, ensuring reliable high-bandwidth, low-latency video transmission. With support for PoC and broad compatibility with camera models and development boards, the module is suitable for use in ADAS systems, industrial automation, surveillance, and smart city applications.
The GMSL adapter with the MAX9296A deserializer chip enables simultaneous connection of two GMSL cameras to Jetson Orin Nano or Jetson Orin NX mainboards. It supports both GMSL1 and GMSL2 protocols, switchable via software. Using Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link technology, it provides high-bandwidth, low-latency video transmission via coaxial cables or twisted pairs. The module supports triggering via internal GPIO or external input signal and 12 V Power over Coaxial (PoC) for camera power supply. It is used in autonomous driving systems, surveillance, smart factories, and urban applications.
