Description

GPS expansion module with 72-channel GNSS receiver SAM-M8Q dedicated to Arduino MKR. The chip can receive data from all major positioning systems: GPS, GLONASS and Galileo. Determining the position with the help of the module allows you to achieve an accuracy of up to 2.5 m. The SAM-M8Q module detects jamming and spoofing events and is equipped with an antenna in the form of a chip. The module has a 5-pin connector with an I2C interface. In addition, on pins with a raster of 2.54 mm, UART and I2C interfaces were brought out. The board also has a basket for a backup battery, which significantly speeds up the start of the device after a temporary power failure. The manufacturer provides easy-to-use libraries, thanks to which the user can quickly start the module.
