Description
Arduino MKR Zero is a development board with a SAMD21 microcontroller (ARM Cortex® M0+). There are 22 digital inputs/outputs (12 of them can be used to generate PWM signals, 7 of them can work as analog inputs), USART interface, SPI, I2C and micro USB socket, power socket and reset button. The board contains everything you need to get started - just plug in the power adapter or USB cable and start having fun!
The advantage of this board is that the SAMD21 microcontroller is equipped with a USB hardware interface, thanks to which it does not require an additional microcontroller or converter implementing this functionality. This allows for extremely easy creation of applications emulating the keyboard or mouse, in addition, it is possible to work the USB interface in CDC mode, thanks to which the Arduino MKR Zero is visible in the computer as a virtual COM port. The module has a built-in SD connector with dedicated SPI (SPI1) interfaces that allow you to play music files.
