Description
The compact M5Stack ATOMIC RS232 Base enables RS232 serial communication with ATOM series modules through bidirectional conversion between TTL and RS232 levels. The MAX232 chip handles signal level conversion, while full-duplex communication allows simultaneous data transmission and reception. The module can be used in automation nodes, industrial controllers, and projects requiring communication with devices equipped with an RS232 interface.
The built-in A0Z1282CI DC-DC converter allows a compatible ATOM module to be powered from an external 12 V source. A 4-pin VH connector with 3.96 mm pitch provides signal and power connections. The PC housing measures 24 x 48 x 18 mm, while the module weighs 18 g. ATOMIC RS232 Base is compatible with Atom Matrix, Atom Lite, AtomS3 Lite, and ATOMS3.
