The M5Stack Earth Unit is a module with a soil moisture sensor designed for M5Stack sets. For measurement, the sensor uses the change in conductivity of the hygroscopic probe material (resistance sensor). The probe has two pointed tabs, making it easy to insert into the ground. The module has an analog output and a digital output with adjustable reaction threshold. The analog output voltage level increases in proportion to the ground moisture level. The sensor is supplied with the voltage of 5 V. It can be used, for example, in automatic watering systems. Full documentation is available on the product page.
