Description

Prusament PLA Opal Green is designed for 3D printing parts that require high surface quality and accurate detail reproduction. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency control, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to the specific production data of the given batch.

PLA material is characterized by low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, reducing the risk of warping and enabling reliable printing even on open-frame 3D printers. The Opal Green color provides a semi-transparent appearance with a subtle opalescent effect, especially visible on thin walls. The filament is suitable for visual models, decorative elements, and prototypes with moderate mechanical requirements. PLA allows achieving high surface quality and precise details at relatively low printing temperatures.
