This micro:bit module allows for light and object detection and line tracking, making it ideal for educational and robotic projects. Equipped with three phototransistors, it provides precise measurements, and the analog signal transmitted to the micro:bit allows for precise analysis of the surroundings. The board can be connected directly to the micro:bit or via alligator clips. Kitronik 5678
Kitronik Clippable Detector Board V1.0 is a versatile board designed to work with the BBC micro:bit. It enables light detection, object detection, and line following, making it an excellent addition to educational and robotics projects. The board features three evenly spaced phototransistors that detect differences in light reflection from various surfaces. It provides an analog signal to the micro:bit, allowing for very precise measurements. The board can be connected directly to the micro:bit or using crocodile clips, offering great flexibility in assembly. Full operation requires five connections corresponding to the standard micro:bit pins.
With dedicated MakeCode blocks prepared by Kitronik, programming the board is extremely simple and intuitive. Users can also use MicroPython, which opens up additional opportunities for development and experimentation with code. This solution is perfect for both beginners and more advanced users who want to expand their robotics projects. The board has been designed to easily integrate with other Kitronik products, such as the Klipp Motor Board.
