Artillery Hornet - 3D printer

Description

The Artillery Hornet is a 3D printer using FFF/FDM printing technology. It features a working area of 220 x 220 x 250 mm. It is equipped with an aluminium construction, 'silent' stepper motor controllers and a powerful power supply.

The design uses a reverse single Z-axis system with a dedicated coupler to ensure smooth movement and V-shaped pulleys to guarantee stable operation. A Bowden-type extruder is responsible for moving the filament. 

The printer is controlled by a main board based on a 32-bit microcontroller, which guarantees efficient operation as well as high configuration flexibility and easy expansion. Combined with a set of low-noise stepper motor drivers, it provides comfortable operation and does not generate nuisance noise. To operate the printer, the user has a potentiometer-controlled screen.

The construction of the printer is made of metal components and the electronic part is hidden under the base of the printer. The modularity makes the whole look aesthetically pleasing, and the assembly of the printer is easy and quick. Filament is placed on a specially prepared mount, and replacement is simple and intuitive. The printer supports a wide range of filaments: PLA, PETG and TPU. It works with most popular software. The process of uploading files for printing can be done on an SD card or via a USB cable.
