ZL2MCS51 - development kit for microcontrollers from the MCS51 family

ZL2MCS51 is a universal set adapted to work with standard 8051 family microcontrollers in PLCC44 enclosures. The solutions used in the set allow programming memory of the processors after they have been installed in the system. Atmel AT89Sxx / 89Sxxxx microcontrollers can be programmed in ISP mode (eg ZL9PRG, ZL11PRG and ZL11PRG-M programmers controlled by AT89ISP software from Atmel), while other microcontrollers manufactured, among others, by Atmel (eg AT89C51xD2), Atmel-Temic, Philips, Goal Semiconductor, Intel, Toshiba can be programmed in IAP mode using the RS232 interface (Atmel FLIP software).

The basic properties of the set:

• 4-digit LED display (multiplex controlled),
• alphanumeric LCD display with 2x16 characters,
• RS232 interface,
• connector for connecting the RS232 / USB converter (ZL1USB),
• MMC card connector (supported in SPI mode),
• 8 LEDs,
• 8 buttons,
• rectangular waveform generator with adjustable frequency,
• piezoacoustic transducer,
• voltage stabilizers 3.3 and 5 V,
• crystal resonator 11,0592 MHz,
• 9 ... 12 VDC power supply (non-substantial voltage polarization), current consumption depending on the configuration of the set,
• microcontroller ports were led to pin connectors.

The set includes:

• base plate with AT89C51RD2 microcontroller,
• 2x16 characters LCD display.
