The device allows to determine exactly the amount of energy consumed by eg a computer or another 230 V receiver. The 'heart' of the set is the ADE7759 integrated circuit. It contains two measurement paths: current and voltage. Power and active energy are calculated by hardware every 1.12 us. The remaining quantities are calculated programmatically.
The operation of the electricity meter is controlled by the ATmega 16 processor. The reading of all settings and measurement results is carried out on the alphanumeric LCD display. You can use a small keyboard to navigate the menu. The meter provides work in a single or double-rate system, the ability to remember the amount of 'consumed' energy, work in a selected period of time, etc.
The device is recommended to all users of the power grid that wants to minimize the bills paid for electricity
