Most radio receivers are usually designed for receiving several emissions and usually have simplified filters, prepared to receive the widest signal. As a result, the operator may feel tired during work - his ear is exposed to additional interference in a wide range of frequencies. One of the ways to improve this situation is to use in the low frequency track an additional audio filter with adjustable width of the transmitted bandwidth.
One of the MAXIM systems was used in the kitten, in which the constructors applied modern filtration technology using switched capacity systems. These filters have a similar construction to the usual analog circuits, however the resistors have been replaced with capacitor and switched key systems with the set timing frequency. As a result, the entire system is characterized by small dimensions and a small number of elements.

The device is especially recommended for electronics - shortwave radio
