Merged LED drivers are offered by many semiconductor manufacturers, who increasingly attach importance to minimizing the workload of constructors and programmers. One of the most modern solutions of this type is the NXP family of PCA9633 chips.
The controller used in the system has four push-pull outputs with the possibility of switching into the open drain mode. It has been equipped with programmable PWM generators that allow adjustment of the brightness of each LED (independently) of their entire set as well as flashing at a given frequency.

The device is especially recommended for lovers of light effects

  • brightness regulation in the range of 0-99,6%
  • adjustable flicker frequency in the range of 0.1-24 Hz
  • a driver equipped with an I2C interface
  • the ability to change the address of the system (jumpers)
