Low-power mini converters (QRP) for the 80m band are still eagerly bought and taken on vacation or holiday. Working on a small, hand-made device is a lot of pleasure, and not just beginner amateur radio players.
The transceiver presented below is fundamentally different from most of the designs found on the net or on the pages of AVT magazines. Its design has been designed based only on transistors. Thanks to this, it can be especially recommended to all novices in the amateur radio industry. Transparency of the system favors accurate understanding of the signal flow, facilitates tuning and introduction of possible modifications, and has a large impact on low construction costs. The construction can be the first exercise, after obtaining a license, for the construction of transceiver systems and learning the secrets of the shortwave HF band.
