In computer systems, highly popular floppy disks have been almost completely supplanted by CDs and DVDs and semiconductor memories - pendrives. Especially the latter is a breath of freedom - small, light, capacious and resistant to accidental data corruption. It is worth to use them in even the simplest microprocessor systems. This is possible thanks to the Vinculum systems. These integrated microcontrollers are perfect for handling the USB interface.
The layout / 2 used in the kitty is a modern element that plays the role of a USB host and allows simple storage support with this connector. It radically reduces costs and limits the problems associated with connecting the data carrier to the constructed system.

The device is particularly recommended to constructors of microprocessor devices in which frequent data exchange is necessary
