We present a simple protection system, useful for tourists, especially during trips. The system works like a radar. The infrared beam is reflected from the obstacle. After its disappearance, the alarm signal is triggered. The system may act as a signaling device for entering a person to a railway compartment occupied by (sleeping) a tourist. In this case, the IR beam falls on the entrance door. If the beam is aimed at the bag or backpack, the alarm will sound when the baggage is moved or taken away.
