Liquid level measurement can be carried out by various methods in which mechanical or electronic sensors are used. Simple to use is the use of electrodes between which an alternating current flows. Ultrasound sensors or liquid pressure readings are less common. However, the latter method is relatively simple to implement - this solution was used in the presented set.
The meter uses the principle that the pressure exerted on the bottom of the vessel is proportional to the height of the liquid column. For reading, a differential pressure sensor was used, connected by a tube to the vessel being monitored. The rest is taken care of by the PSoC processor.
The device is particularly recommended when it is necessary to monitor the liquid level - especially non-conductive
