Crowtail-Tilt Switch 2.0 is a simple digital sensor that detects a change in the module’s position along the vertical–horizontal axis. Used in projects requiring tilt detection, orientation signaling or activation depending on position.
Crowtail-Tilt Switch 2.0 is a digital tilt sensor based on a ball mechanism, used for detecting changes in the module’s orientation relative to the vertical axis. In the vertical position, the balls inside the housing short the contacts, generating a HIGH state on the output. When the module is tilted to the horizontal position, the contacts open, causing the output to switch to a LOW state. Thanks to the Crowtail connector, the module can be directly connected to the digital inputs of microcontrollers. Powered with 5 V, it is used in motion detection, position sensing or anti-shock protection projects.
