COM-10963 - EasyVR Shield - Voice recognition module
Have you ever spoken to your Arduino? Ask why it does not work or praise it for proper operation? From now on you can make Arduino not only "listen" to your comments, but also ... understand what you say to him! This is possible thanks to the EasyVR extension module - a dedicated "shield" for Arduino, whose only purpose is to efficiently recognize the operator's voice. Although the device requires a certain amount of work to be able to work most effectively, the whole process is very intuitive and takes place using a computer with free software installed.
EasyVR has been designed as a cheap alternative to more sophisticated voice recognition systems, but it has been ensured that the possibilities of this system do not limit potential applications in almost any application. In addition to the basic set of commands in English, Italian, Japanese, German, Spanish and French, the system allows you to "teach" him as many as 32 commandos in any language - also in Polish . EasyVR has a simple speech synthesizer that allows you to get feedback on the work of the system, it is also equipped with a programmable LED, serving the same purpose. The module has a mini-jack headphone connector and terminals for connecting the 8 & Ohm; loudspeaker. I / O programmable lines are also available for any application.
Communication with Arduino takes place via a serial interface, allowing full control over the module. There is also nothing that prevents EasyVR from connecting (via the appropriate UARTUSB adapter ) to the PC.
