Still the current problem of the listener is to get a radio receiver with the appropriate scope of work and modulator. Ready, commercially available devices of this type are often very expensive. Meanwhile, instead of buying a new one or building a system from scratch, it is possible to add a converter to an already existing receiver, eg a CB radiotelephone. For this reason, we recommend the construction of a very simple 80 / 10m converter. Such a device connected on the one hand to the antenna input of the CW / SSB receiver on the 10m range, on the other hand to the antenna, ensures very decent reception of the popular amateur band.
