Bascom 8051 - Bascom compiler

Bascom language compiler for 8051 family microcontrollers.

Due to the easily synthesized syntax of the language, entry into the world of microcontrollers can be extremely gentle. At the same time, an extensive library of functions built into the compiler allows writing programs with large possibilities (including support for character and graphic LCD displays, cooperation with a PC keyboard, support for systems with SPI, UART, I2C and 1-Wire interfaces).

Bascom is, in addition to the compiler, a complete developer environment (IDE). Its composition includes, among others:

• editor with functions useful for the programmer (eg syntax coloring, operations on text blocks),
• simulator that allows you to follow the program before entering it into the microcontroller (during the simulator operation you can, among others, observe the current values of variables, tags, ports),
• LCD display emulator (along with a module for designing your own characters),
• a module controlling the operation of the programmer (eg ZL2PRG for AVR microcontrollers).

The modules built into Bascoma allow you to write a program without having to use additional programming tools. The Bascom compiler can be installed on any computer designed to work under the control of the Windows 98 / Me / 2000 / XP operating system.

Users of this version of the compiler can use for evaluation works one of the sets: ZL1MCS51 with LED display, ZL1MCS51 with LED and LCD displays, ISP ZL9PRG programmer or one of stationary programmers: ZL5PRG, ZL6PRG, ZL7PRG.
