About the book
Electron tubes have been replaced by semiconductor equipment in the late 1970s. They are currently experiencing their renaissance in audio technology. This is related to, inter alia, the increasingly better availability of new generation lamps. Their production is dealt with by many companies, the few of which are the most modern in Europe. Thanks to this charms of "tube sound" can now experience almost everyone.
The book is intended for all electronic musicians who want to independently build various types of tube audio circuits. The included in it a transparent and comprehensive course for the design of tube systems, many practical examples and the parameters and characteristics of selected lamps are a good material for taking independent attempts to build devices with electron tubes. Additionally, the book presents modern software tools supporting the design of tube systems.
