GPIO Expander allows you to extend the project with an additional 16 I / O signal lines. The lines can work as inputs or outputs, moreover, the module can generate an interrupt signal in the event of a change in the status of inputs. The module includes the MCP23017 (Microchip Technology Inc. *) with an I2C interface and jumpers to configure the address of the system. However, the configuration jumper V_SEL +3,3 V / + 5 V allows you to select the supply voltage and digital signals. Attention! The standard setting of the power jumper is +3.3 V.
