Usually the task of the clock is to show the current time as accurately as possible. It is best that - using the clockmaker's term - the clock's walk is as accurate as possible, because the clock is supposed to show us the time, not us by correcting the indications. But even if the clock is accurate, it still needs correction due to summer time, winter time, and when it has a built-in calendar, leap years should be considered. A popular method of time synchronization is the use of the DCF77 receiver. It is a proven system, but it is susceptible to interference, and the view of a DCF receiver with a large ferrite antenna is reminiscent of an old radio receiver and is rather discouraging today. This clock is based on a much more modern solution, as a time standard using the GPS system, so you can say that it has "cosmic accuracy".
The system, although it is designed for permanent cooperation with a GPS receiver (eg: MARS600-MINI), can also work as a regular clock synchronized with quartz.
The clock is ideal for installation in various public places: railway stations waiting rooms, public buildings, schools.
