Description

Gravity: GPIO Shield for Arduino is an I / O port expander compatible with Arduino UNO. It allows you to expand the capabilities of the base plate by providing a much larger number of pins than are available on Arduino boards. Shield provides a total of 36 pins, including 14 Arduino digital inputs / outputs, 6 Arduino analog pins and 16 additional I / O pins controlled via the I2C interface. 16 additional pins are available thanks to the PCA9555 chip. On the board, all digital and analog pins have been positioned in a special way together with VCC and GND pins in a manner analogous to the DFRobot "Gravity" standard. This makes it even easier to connect modules with DFRobot sensors to Arduino tiles. The board also has derived I2C and UART serial interfaces. The PCB's power supply can be realized by Arduino pins or from an external power supply (selection by means of a jumper).
