The Pixhawk 6C is the latest update to the popular Pixhawk family of flight controllers, based on the open standard Pixhawk FMUv6C. It comes with a pre-installed PX4 autopilot. Inside the Pixhawk 6C is an STM32H743 microcontroller and a set of sensors from Bosch and InvenSense, providing the flexibility and reliability to control any autonomous vehicle, suitable for both academic and commercial applications.
The H7 MCU features an Arm® Cortex®-M7 core operating at up to 480MHz, 2 MB flash memory and 1 MB RAM. Thanks to the updated processing power, developers can work more productively and efficiently, enabling the creation of complex algorithms and models. The open standard FMUv6C includes powerful IMUs designed to provide redundancy. The filtering and noise reduction system ensures accurate readings, enabling vehicles to perform better in-flight.
The Power Management Board (PM Board) serves the purpose of a Power Module as well as a Power Distribution Board. In addition to providing regulated power to Pixhawk 4 and the ESCs, it sends information to the autopilot about battery voltage and current that is supplied to the flight controller and the motors.
