Description

The RoArm-M2-Pro robotic arm module offers four degrees of freedom and a drive system based on high-torque, directly controlled ST3235 serial servomechanisms. The Pro version features an all-metal construction and increased mechanical durability thanks to reduced backlash in the drives. The main control unit based on the ESP32 system enables wireless communication via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and ESP-NOW, as well as wired communication via USB and UART. The arm supports manual control modes (via a WEB interface), communication with hosts (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Jetson Orin Nano), and integration with ROS2.

Thanks to a design made of carbon fiber and 5052 aluminum, the total weight does not exceed 900 g, while maintaining a load capacity of up to 0.5 kg at a distance of 0.5 m. The working area of the arm reaches a diameter of up to 1090 mm, allowing full 360° base rotation and joint motion ranges from 135° to 270°.

The arm offers full support for secondary development – open-source software, 3D models and DXF files, communication interface documentation, and a WEB application for visual coordinate control are all provided. The mechanical design allows easy expansion of the end-of-arm tool (EoAT), installation of a camera, sensors, and other accessories.
