Four degrees of freedom (4DOF) robotic arm assembly kit. The robotic arm was based on servos and is controlled wirelessly using a Raspberry Pi. Waveshare Robot Arm for Pi (for Europe)
Four degrees of freedom (4DOF) robotic arm assembly kit. The manipulator is based on servos and is controlled wirelessly using a Raspberry Pi and Bluetooth or WiFi communication. It provides an interesting and easy-to-use kit for learning to control a robotic arm.
The manipulator structure is made of aluminium. The movement of the arm is triggered by four servos (MG996R and MG90S). The arm has a small gripper at the end, allowing small objects to be picked up and moved. An expansion module with a PWM expander circuit, which communicates via an I2C interface, is responsible for controlling the servos.
