Description
Kit for building an intelligent JetBot robot. The design is based on the Jetson Nano minicomputer. It is an NVIDIA development kit with an ARM Cortex A57 CPU working at 1.43 GHz and a Maxwell graphics chip consisting of 128 cores supporting CUDA technology. The system is supported by 4 GB DDR4 RAM, Ethernet and HDMI interface and two MIPI-CSI connectors. The set is intended especially for graphic design and processing of very large amounts of data as well as for running modern devices using AI. Supports popular AI libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras and MXNet.
The robot is equipped with an 8 MPx camera with a Sony IMX219 image sensor, which allows you to collect data about the environment and use it to train the neural network, which, in combination with the AI algorithm, enables the implementation of automatic collision avoidance, object detection, motion and color algorithms.
The set includes a chassis equipped with two DC motors with gears and rotation sensors (incremental encoder). This allows the robot to use the feedback necessary to control speed and odometry algorithms.
In addition, the user has at his disposal a 9-axis IMU position sensor, which combines an accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer, and a 360 ° Lidar dedicated to scanning the environment. Easy integration of the robot with the user is guaranteed by a microphone and the ability to integrate the system with the Google assistant, which adds the possibility of speech recognition, conversation and voice control.
The integrity and ease of use of the set is ensured by the ROS (Robot Operating System) dedicated to this type of solution.
The kit is easy to assemble. It consists of a module with an OLED display, a 18650 battery basket, a motor controller and RP2040 microcontroller, which provides higher control accuracy, and is responsible for position data collection and motion control. The robot is also equipped with a 2.4/5 GHz WiFi module and antennas. Installation instructions are available at the link.
The kit is the official kit recommended by the manufacturer Jetson Nano - Nvidia. The user manual that helps you get started with the kit is available on the manufacturer's website.

The kit does not include the 18650 batteries. They must be purchased separately. Only 18650 batteries shorter than 67 mm are compatible with the set.Features
