Description
A kit for building an intelligent JetBot robot. The design is intended for use with the Jetson Nano development kit. It is an NVIDIA development kit featuring a CPU ARM Cortex A57 running at 1.43 GHz and a Maxwell GPU consisting of 128 cores supporting CUDA technology. The system is supported by 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, Ethernet and HDMI interfaces, and two MIPI-CSI connectors. It supports popular AI libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras, and MXNet.
The robot is equipped with an 8 MP camera with a Sony IMX219 image sensor, which allows for data collection from the environment and using it to train a neural network. Combined with an AI algorithm, this enables the implementation of algorithms for automatic collision avoidance, object detection, motion, and color recognition.
The kit includes a chassis equipped with two DC motors with gearboxes and rotation sensors (incremental encoders). Thanks to this, the robot can utilize feedback necessary for speed control and odometry algorithms.
Additionally, the user has access to a 9-axis IMU sensor that combines an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, as well as a 360° Lidar dedicated to scanning the environment. Easy integration of the robot with the user is guaranteed by the microphone and the ability to connect the system with Google Assistant, which adds voice recognition, conversation, and voice control functions.
The kit’s integrity and ease of use are ensured by the ROS (Robot Operating System), dedicated to such solutions.
The kit is easy to assemble. It consists of a module with an OLED display, a holder for 18650 batteries, a motor controller, and an RP2040 microcontroller, which ensures higher control accuracy and is also responsible for collecting position data and controlling movement. The robot is also equipped with a WiFi 2.4/5 GHz module and antennas. Assembly instructions are available via this link.
JetBot is the official kit recommended by the manufacturer Jetson Nano - Nvidia. A user manual to help you get started with the kit is available on the manufacturer's website.

The kit does not include the NVIDIA Jetson Nano or 18650 batteries. They must be purchased separately. Only 18650 batteries shorter than 67 mm fit this kit.Features
