USR-DR164 is a compact RS485 ↔ WiFi converter supporting 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands with Modbus Gateway functionality, enabling easy integration of industrial devices with IoT networks and SCADA/PLC systems. Thanks to its robust industrial design, wide voltage and operating temperature range, and flexible configuration, it is suitable for industrial automation, smart buildings, energy, and logistics applications.
The USR-DR164 converter is a compact serial device server enabling bidirectional data transmission between RS485 devices and a WiFi network in 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands. The device supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standards, and with AP, STA, and AP+STA modes, it offers flexible adaptation to various network topologies. The built-in Modbus Gateway function provides Modbus RTU ↔ Modbus TCP protocol conversion, enabling integration with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial servers.
The “lipstick”-sized housing and DIN rail mounting make the module easy to install even in small control cabinets. Thanks to interference resistance and a wide operating temperature range, the device is suitable for industrial applications such as automation, logistics, energy, and smart buildings.
