The TTL-RS485 converter enables easy integration of a microcontroller’s UART port with the RS485 bus, providing half-duplex transmission with automatic direction switching. Thanks to its wide supply voltage range, EMC/EMI resistance, and built-in terminating resistor, it is suitable for industrial communication, automation, and long-distance transmission systems
The TTL-RS485 converter module allows direct connection of a microcontroller’s UART port to the RS485 bus, commonly used in industrial systems and long-distance communication. It supports automatic transmission direction switching, making it as easy to use as a standard serial port. The module features a wide supply voltage range from 3.0 V to 30 V, compatibility with 3.3 V and 5 V signal levels, and resistance to interference and surges. It is equipped with a 120 Ω terminating resistor (enabled by shorting R0) and ARK screw terminals plus 2.54 mm goldpin headers for convenient integration in projects. Additional RXD and TXD indicator LEDs make it easier to monitor transmission.
