Description
Real time clock (RTC) module DS1307. It is powered by 5 V and communicates via the I2C interface (Gravity connector). There is also a CR1220 battery socket on the board, which maintains the system operation after disconnecting the power supply. The DS1307 chip uses a precision oscillator, making the timing error much less than similar products. It also has a built-in EEPROM memory dedicated to storing information about events.
