Educational kit for learning TinyML. It consists of the Wio Terminal module, Grove sensors and a course developed by Professor Vijay Reddi from Harvard University. Dedicated to people who want to learn the basics of machine learning.
Wio Terminal is an ATSAMD51 based development kit with wireless connectivity supported by Realtek RTL8720DN. The processor runs at 120 MHz (up to 200 MHz) and has 4 MB of Flash memory. The Realtek RTL8720DN chip supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, providing communication for IoT projects. Wio Terminal is equipped with a 2.4-inch LCD screen, built-in IMU (LIS3DHTR), microphone, buzzer, microSD card slot, light sensor and infrared transmitter (IR 940nm). In addition, it also has two multifunctional Grove ports and a 40-pin GPIO connector compatible with the Raspberry Pi.
Grove is a modular, easy-to-use, open source toolkit. The two Grove sensors included in the kit are an ultrasonic sensor and a temperature and humidity sensor.
Thanks to the kit, the user can gain practical experience and learn about machine learning algorithms, including data collection, preprocessing, model learning, optimization and implementation in a ready project.
