Description
High-quality OV5640 camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and a 120° wide-angle lens. This module is an ideal solution for photography and image analysis using Pico or Pico W boards. It allows capturing uncompressed RGB images for advanced analysis or utilizing built-in JPEG encoding for convenient image storage on an SD card or uploading to the adafruit.io platform.
The module uses a fast DVP parallel interface for communication with the RP2040 processor. The camera sensors support an 8-bit image data interface, Pixel Clock, H Sync, and V Sync signals, as well as configuration via the I2C interface. Additional Reset and Power Down pins enable easy control from the microcontroller.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and universal interface, the OV5640 camera is an excellent choice for IoT projects, monitoring, image analysis, and other applications requiring high-quality image capture.
