Description
The Odroid M1S is a versatile single-board computer equipped with powerful peripherals, designed for a wide range of embedded systems. Powered by the Rockchip RK3566 chip with a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, Mali-G52 GPU, and an AI accelerator, it delivers exceptional performance. The board features 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, and multiple connectivity options, including Ethernet, USB, HDMI, GPIO, and MIPI DSI ports.
An evolution of the original Odroid M1, the M1S comes with significant upgrades such as a more compact design, 20% lower power consumption, an additional GPIO expansion port, and built-in eMMC storage. Long-term support is guaranteed until 2036, making it a reliable choice for developers.
The RK3566 SoC in the M1S ensures compatibility with software developed for the Odroid M1, enabling seamless reuse. While existing OS images require minor adjustments due to differences in bootloader and kernel settings, porting is a straightforward process.
The M1S supports Ubuntu 22.04 and Android 11 operating systems, with a variety of accessories available. Comprehensive documentation and application examples can be found on the product's official Wiki page.
