Description
Module with integrated proximity and ambient light sensors and IR emitter in the VCNL4020 system. It allows you to detect obstacles in the range from 0 to 20 cm (no dead zone) and measure light intensity from 0.26 to 16,000 lux. It communicates via the I2C bus (STEMMA QT connector). The sensor is often found in automatic towel and soap dispensers or automatic taps, as well as smartphones or GPS navigations, where it is used as a sensor to control screen brightness.
