Description

Step-down (buck) converter module designed to reduce an input voltage from 24 V to 60 V down to a regulated 24 V output with a current of up to 8 A. This is a synchronous switching converter, providing high efficiency (up to 95%) and significantly lower power losses compared to traditional linear regulators. It is ideal for systems requiring high current and stable power supply, such as microcontroller circuits, motor power systems, automation, or advanced hobby projects.

The device is equipped with multiple protections, including reverse voltage protection, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown in case of overheating. Additionally, the built-in soft-start function limits inrush current, ensuring a smooth rise of output voltage at startup. The module also offers an ENA input for enabling/disabling the circuit and a Power Good (PG) output that indicates correct output voltage and can be used to monitor power status.

The module features a low quiescent current (<0.3 mA) and a high switching frequency of about 800 kHz, allowing the use of small filtering components. With its compact dimensions and four mounting holes, the regulator can be easily installed in almost any project. The board includes convenient solder pads for connecting power wires or 5 mm screw terminals. Thanks to its wide input voltage range and high output power, the converter provides a reliable source of stable power in systems that require low voltage, high current, and excellent energy efficiency.
