The S13V15F5 converter module enables to obtain an output voltage of 5 V from the input voltage from 2.8 V to 22 V. The maximum current efficiency of the module is up to 2 A and is dependent on the input voltage. The efficiency of the converter is from 85 to 95%, which makes it a much better solution than linear voltage stabilizers. The module has reverse voltage protection, output short-circuit protection, soft start system and thermal protection. The typical current draw for an enabled inverter is 10 to 20 mA.
