X-NUCLEO-53L5A1 is an expansion board with ToF VL53L5CX distance sensor designed for STM32 Nucleo kits. The system integrates SPAD matrix, physical infrared filters and optical components (DOE), which allows you to achieve good performance in various ambient lighting conditions. The sensor allows you to measure distances up to 4 m in 64 zones with a wide field of view of 63 °. The data can be read at up to 60 Hz and thanks to the ST Histogram algorithms, the VL53L5CX is able to detect various objects in the field of view. The module allows you to detect gestures. Perfect for applications such as room mapping, liquid level detection or AR and VR applications. The shield is compatible with STM32 Nucleo boards and has an Arduino UNO R3 connector.
