Crowtail – Collision Sensor 2.0 is a mechanical collision sensor with a digital output, detecting impacts through pressure on a microswitch. Used in mobile robotics for detecting contact with obstacles.
The Crowtail – Collision Sensor 2.0 module is a collision sensor based on a mechanical switch that detects contact with an obstacle by pressing the built-in microswitch. In the idle state, the digital output remains high, while in case of a collision it switches to low. The module can be easily integrated with mobile platforms and Arduino/Crowduino microcontrollers using a 3-pin cable and the Crowtail interface. It is used in mobile robotics for obstacle detection and motion-limit sensing.
