The voltage converter is a solution that allows you to convert an input voltage in the range of 1.8 V to 5.3 V into an appropriate negative output voltage. The module offers high efficiency in excess of 80%, making it ideal for applications where a lower power negative power supply is required, such as biasing sensors or op-amp circuits.
It is worth emphasizing that unlike traditional voltage regulators that generate a constant output voltage, this inverter works dynamically, adjusting the negative output voltage in proportion to the input voltage. This allows the user to obtain a regulated negative voltage using a pre-regulated supply voltage. For example, with a 5V power supply, the module generates a constant -5V output, while with 3.3V input, the output voltage is -3.3V. However, please note that the output voltage will vary depending on the load.
