Description

Wireless data logger with LoRaWAN network communication. Dedicated to industrial long-distance data acquisition from sensors with RS485 interface, GPIO or analog output. It features stability and reliability with low power consumption. It is optimized for OTA with built-in Bluetooth for quick configuration and updates. It can be powered by batteries or connected to an external 12-volt power supply.

The kit provides the user with an easy process to configure the device in 4 simple steps through the Mate APP, which helps manage the sensors via Bluetooth protocol. This avoids time-consuming setup and allows those with less experience and technical background to quickly get started with the device.

In addition to interfacing with existing sensor nodes, the S2100 data logger can also be combined with Grove's SenseCAP S2110 converter. It is ideal for development, rapid prototyping and small-scale deployment of LoRaWAN sensors at the DIY industrial level.

The device has an industrial-grade enclosure that provides IP66-compliant protection, and built-in LoRaWAN communication guarantees a range of 2 to 10 kilometers, depending on environmental conditions, while maintaining lower power consumption during the transmission process. Remote monitoring via Bluetooth can also be beneficial for large-scale deployments, as it provides efficiency by saving time and labor needed to deploy and manage devices. SenseCAP is supported over various LoRaWAN networks and supports all universal frequency ranges from 863MHz to 928MHz. The frequency plan is disabled by default and will not transmit an RF signal until it is set by the application via Bluetooth when first powered up. It can be changed to other frequency plans at any time. Such rich equipment along with a replaceable battery with up to 10 years of battery life meets a wide range of needs for IoT solutions.
