Description

LED strip with addressable RGB WS2813B diodes placed on a flexible black PCB strip. It is powered by 5 V, has 60 LEDs/m and requires up to 9 W/m to work at full capacity. The tape offers an IP67 protection level which means it is waterproof. It is dedicated to installations inside and outside buildings, exposed to contact with water.

The type of WS2813B used is addressed LEDs with a built-in driver, which means that each LED can be controlled individually. They have a convenient control interface that requires only one data line, thanks to which we are able to control a large number of elements without taking up many microcontroller outputs.

WS2813B diodes support the system of resuming operation after a line interruption - in the event of failure of one diode, the other diodes will continue to glow. This system works until there are two faulty diodes next to each other.

The tape has been placed in a silicone casing for water resistance. It is possible to cut and combine tapes. Each LED can be cut off and connected to another lighting element, but cutting the tape cover will result in the loss of water resistance.

The LED strip will be used in lighting installations, as a decorative element in the living room, kitchen or workshop.
