Pololu stepper motor driver offers a micro step resolution of 1/128 degree and allows you to control one bipolar stepper motor at a speed of up to about 2.1 A per phase continuously (5 A peak) without a heat sink or forced air flow. The controller has a wide operating voltage range from 6.5 V to 44 V. It has a built-in protection against low voltage, overcurrent and overheating. It also has voltage reversal protection (up to 40 V). The product is delivered with all surface mount components installed. Soldering is required for the assembly of the included straight-through parts.
Data sheet
This NEMA 17-size hybrid bipolar stepping motor has an integrated 28 cm (11″) threaded rod as its output shaft, turning it into a linear actuator capable of precision open-loop positioning. The stepper motor has a 1.8° step angle (200 steps/revolution) and each phase draws 1.7 A at 2.8 V, allowing for a holding torque of 3.7 kg-cm (51 oz-in). Pololu 2268
