Description
Stepstick TMC2209 v4.0 is an advanced stepper motor driver based on the TMC2209 integrated circuit from Trinamic. Its main features are StealthChop2 technology, which ensures quiet and smooth operation of stepper motors, and SpreadCycle mode, which allows higher speeds and torques. It works with a supply voltage of up to 29V, which allows the use of stepper motors with a higher torque and higher supply voltages. Stepstick TMC2209 v4.0 has built-in overheating protection and the ability to configure via UART. It supports the StallGuard4 mode, which facilitates the detection of motor stoppage, and the CoolStep mode, which allows the motor current to be automatically adjusted to current needs. The driver is compatible with most popular 3D printer control boards, such as RAMPS 1.4, MKS Gen, SKR V1.3 and many others, and its small dimensions (20.3mm x 15.2mm) make it easy to install even in confined spaces.
