Class D stereo sound amplifier based on the Texas Instruments TPA2016D2 circuit. It can work with 4 Ω speakers with power up to 2.8 W or 8 Ω with power up to 1.7 W in stereo mode. SparkFun DEV-20690
Class D stereo sound amplifier based on the Texas Instruments TPA2016D2 circuit. It has volume control (gain), dynamic range compression (DRC), automatic gain control (AGC), on/off the amplifier and the possibility of its configuration via software via I2C. It can work with 4 Ω speakers with power up to 2.8 W or 8 Ω with power up to 1.7 W in stereo mode. The DRC and AGC functions allow you to "align" loud and quiet sections from the audio input and maximize the volume while protecting the speakers from damage by extremely loud playback. There are screw terminals on the board for audio input, power supply, power off and loudspeaker output. A 3.5mm TRS connector is included as an alternative to easily connect the audio cable, and the Qwiic system allows it to be easily connected to the rest of the system. The board is great for projects that require audio signal amplification for small speakers. Full documentation is available on the product page.
