The PCM5122 Audio Board (A) by Waveshare, designed for Raspberry Pi boards with a 40-pin GPIO connector, enables high-quality stereo audio playback via the I2S interface. It features a professional PCM5122 digital-to-analog converter supporting up to 32-bit resolution and a sampling rate of up to 384 kHz. Communication with the microcontroller is carried out via the I2C bus.
The device is equipped with a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack output and RCA connector, allowing connection to an external amplifier or speakers. The board also includes EEPROM memory for automatic driver loading in the Raspberry Pi OS system.
